Edwin (Ted) Reynolds was a crew member in 1967
HMS Danae’s First Commission, it was his first ship.
Edwin joined the Royal Navy in September 1966 age 17
And served for 22 years, he left the Navy in 1989 having
Served on board HMS Glamorgan, HMS Penelope
HMS Ambuscade and HMS Argonaut during the Falklands
Conflict. He spent time at HMS Dryad and also two years
Out in Hongkong.
Edwin died of cancer in March 2004. R.I.P.

Alan was a Junior Seaman who sadly developed
Leukaemia whilst we were out on the F.E.S. He
Was casevaced back to his home in the uk, believed
To be the North East. Alan died at home in 1969. R.I.P.
Clive was a Radio supervisor (W) who sustained an
Injury playing hockey in Rio De Janiero.
The injury led to the formation of an embolism
Which led to Clive suffering a heart attack. He sadly
Died after our arrival in Singapore in 1968. R.I.P.
